** POSITION FILLED ** #473 - Full-Time Nanny Needed on the Upper East Side

Warm and welcoming parents seek a Full-time Nanny for their son, currently 8 weeks old, on the Upper East Side of Manhattan starting in May.
The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00/10 am - 5:00/6pm, guaranteed 40 hours per week. Some flexibility is needed.
The right candidate will be kind, upbeat, outgoing, nurturing, patient, loving, safety-conscious, attentive, and proactive.
Someone with positive energy who will prioritize the baby’s well being, work as a team with the parents, think proactively, has great communication skills, and seek a long term position to grow with the family.
The parents work hybrid schedules from home and the office.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to;

Maintaining the child’s schedules (e.g., meals, naps, tummy time, etc).

Diaper changes, dressing the child, and supporting and maintaining healthy hygiene.

Bottle feedings and wash/sterilize bottles.

Making purees, introducing solids, and general meal preparation for the baby.

Taking the baby for walks.

Reading and talking to the child.

Supporting the achievement of age-appropriate milestones (talking, walking, eating solids, etc.)

Engaging the child in and coming up with fun, age-appropriate activities.

Keep a daily communication log with the parents and share updates as needed (WhatsApp preferable)

Child-related chores, including children’s laundry, folding and putting away his clothes, keeping the child’s room and main spaces clean and tidy, restocking the diaper bag, etc.
Requirements

3+ years of relevant experience as a FT nanny with infants.

Legally permitted to work in the U.S.
-
2-3 Valid references.

CPR certification or willing to get it renewed

Tdap, Covid, Flu, vaccinated.

Excellent communication skills.

Must like or feel comfortable around dogs, the family has a sweet, playful, 20 pound Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
Compensation: $35.00 gross per hour.
There will be an opportunity for additional hours on nights and weekends.
Benefits: 10 paid vacation days, 6 sick/personal days, major holidays off, unlimited metrocard. Other benefits can be negotiated for the right candidate.
