If your application is accepted, we will contact you for a phone screening before a virtual interview. We perform social media, reference, and background checks. Please note that providing false references is illegal in many states including New York.

If accepted to move forward, you will be introduced to matching families.
After a successful virtual interview with an employer, you’ll have the opportunity to meet the family in person to ensure it’s the right fit.

Not a dime! Our service is free to candidates. However, we have high standards regarding who we represent, and we expect honest, prompt communication, extreme discretion, and a high degree of professionalism.
We do not take “cuts” from nannies’ pay. We charge families a fee to find and vet the best candidates available.
We actively recruit for every family we work with through our inner network, referrals, and online job boards. We receive thousands of candidate applications every year.
Less than 6% of candidates who apply to A Nanny Match make it through our rigorous qualification process.
We have in-depth conversations with each family multiple times, and we research and learn about each family as much as we learn about our candidates. That’s how we matchmake!
Families must also meet our standards for us to pick up their search, such as offering fair, legal pay and exemplifying a high degree of respect for caregivers.
Our Placement Fees are percentage-based and range between 18% of the candidate’s gross annual income and 30% for temporary placements.

Yes we are! We’re proudly a member of the nonprofit organization, Association of Premier Nanny Agencies, which vets and supports nanny agencies in the United States and worldwide. We’ve undergone a rigorous review of all our policies, documents, materials, and agreements to ensure we are operating ethically and within the law.

While we make every effort to help candidates who pass our screening process, there are simply not enough jobs at a given time to give to everyone. There are typically dozens of candidates going for the same positions.
That said, we work very hard, and in the past 8 years, we’ve helped more than 500 nannies find their dream jobs!
Our placements are extremely competitive.
We only proceed with the top candidates who are highly qualified for our positions and are a match for the family.
Due to the high volume of applications and jobs, we are unable to provide an update for each position you applied for.

Depending on location, job responsibilities, schedule, and number of children, our nanny positions typically range from about $30 to $45+ per hour.
We expect our nannies and families to work legally “on the books,” and we educate and encourage families about industry standards regarding benefits, including PTO, health insurance assistance, and other benefits to ensure the success of a happy and healthy hire!
We encourage families and nannies to have a paid trial of 1 to 7 days to ensure it’s the right fit.
To make a great match, both parties must be happy. We spend a lot of time getting to know our nannies and our families to make sure we are introducing great fits. We provide you with support throughout the entire hiring process, and beyond. We will check in with you after the first few days, the first few weeks, and as often as you need throughout your tenure with your family. We aim to foster meaningful relationships between parents, candidates, and children.
