About the Family
A warm Upper West Side family is seeking an experienced full-time nanny to care for their growing family. They have an active, imaginative 2.5-year-old daughter who loves music, pretend play, and spending time outdoors, and are expecting a baby boy in August.
Initially, the nanny’s primary focus will be caring for the toddler while Mom focuses on the newborn. Responsibilities may shift from day to day depending on the family’s needs, with the role naturally evolving into regular care for both children as the baby grows.
Mom will be home during the day, so the family is looking for a nanny who is comfortable working alongside a hands-on parent and enjoys a collaborative environment. The family values flexibility and teamwork and is looking for someone who is comfortable adjusting throughout the day as priorities naturally shift between the children.
Travel
The family spends January in Miami each winter and would like the nanny to join them. They are flexible and happy to work with the right candidate to create a schedule that works well for everyone. Round-trip airfare will be provided, and the nanny will have a private bedroom and bathroom while in Miami. Additional travel may include occasional overnight trips to Connecticut and rare overnight stays at the family’s NYC home.
