Child: 3 months old (b)

General schedule (ideally):

(9AM-5:30PM) with Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays being the most critical days of the week, plus one evening a week or weekend (we can be flexible on which days) for ~3hours. 

Potential for long-term. The child is starting daycare in mid-Sept, and the family will be seeking to fill the same role, long term. However, the parents are unsure of the exact days and hours they will need, so they are hiring for August or through mid-September, or as long as the right candidate is available.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for the child.

• Perform diaper changes and support healthy hygiene practices.

• Assist with bottle feedings and sterilize bottles and equipment.

• Engage the child in age-appropriate activities, including reading, talking, tummy time, play, and walks.

• Help maintain the child’s nap schedule.

• Help with the organization of the home.

• Help with pick-up and drop-off from daycare.

• Run household-related errands.

• Grocery shopping.

• Keep up with laundry.

• Support the child in reaching developmental milestones.

Additional Notes:

• There is a nut allergy in the home - no foods containing nuts are allowed in the home.

• The family maintains a clean and healthy home environment: they recycle, compost, and avoid processed foods. The right candidate will align with these values.

• The family plans to get a dog in the future.

Requirements:

• Must have at least 3 years of experience with infants and household management.  

• Warm, positive, and nurturing demeanor.

• 2-3 relevant references. 

• Local resident. 

• Vaccinated (flu, tdap, MMR, covid)

Compensation: $35-40 an hour
