Location: Roslyn Harbor (Long Island), New York
General Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Children’s ages: 4-year-old twins
Start Date: As soon as the family finds the right fit!
A kind, proactive, and highly dependable Full Time Nanny / Family Assistant is needed to join a warm and welcoming family in Roslyn Harbor. The ideal candidate is equally committed to childcare and household support-–stepping in confidently to help manage daily family life. The family values initiative and is looking for someone who can take ownership of their role and brings positive energy and follow-through.
With both children attending school for a significant portion of the day, the role will focus on family assistant responsibilities during school hours. The ability to manage errands, meal prep, and household tasks efficiently and independently is essential. This is a long term opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys supporting a family and helping young children thrive.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Create a nurturing, screen-free environment with fun and educational, age-appropriate activities
- Prepare breakfast and help the children get ready for school
- School and activity drop-offs / pick-ups
- Maintain organized and tidy children’s spaces (inside and outside areas, including bedrooms, play areas, closets, outside areas, garage area, etc.)
- Tidy and organize common areas including kitchen, children’s laundry, load / unload dishwasher, and generally handle light housekeeping
- Prepare meals for the family–simple and healthy
- Keep household stocked with child-related supplies and help maintain overall organization
- Run regular errands multiple times per week, including grocery shopping, gift buying, pharmacy runs, etc.
- Help coordinate family logistics and anticipate household needs
Qualities We’re Looking For:

- Energetic, hands-on, and attentive with strong judgment
- Proactive self-starter who takes initiative and anticipates needs
- Clear communicator who works well with parents and independently.
- Team player willing to pitch in as needed to help the household run smoothly
- Weekend and evening flexibility is major plus
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional nanny experience
- Prior experience with multiples and similar age group
- CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain / renew)
- Strong swimmer and confident around pools
- Valid driver’s license and experience driving children
Compensation & Benefits:
- $35-40 gross hourly pay on a W-2
- Paid vacation time (average 3 weeks per year, 1 week of the nanny’s choosing)
- 5 paid sick days per year
- Paid holidays
