Location: Hoboken, NJ
Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 9:00am – 5:00pm or 10:00am – 6:00pm
Child’s age: 4 months old (b)
Ideal start date: April/May, 2026
Job Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- Thoughtfully plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities that promote engagement and learning
- Maintaining the child’s sleeping and eating schedules
- Sterilizing bottles and baby equipment
- Helping the child reach his milestones
- Keeping the child’s room clean and tidy
- Taking the child on walks, to activities, and to playdates
- Diaper changes and supporting overall healthy hygiene
- Reading to the child
- Child’s laundry
- Meal preparation for the child
- Restocking the changing table, diaper bag, and child-related items
- Maintain a daily communication log with the parents
Ideal Candidate:
- Energetic, active, and engaging
- Passionate about working with children and supporting their cognitive, physical, and emotional development
- Attentive and prioritizes the children’s safety and well-being
- Warm and friendly with a positive attitude
- Collected and calm under pressure
- Professional, with a collaborative mindset, and an excellent communicator
- Neat, clean, and organized
- Interested in a long-term role and growing with the family
- A background or education in early childhood development is valued
- Familiar with wake windows and sleep routines (or willing to learn and apply them)
- Follows gentle parenting principles
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of recent nanny experience
- Extensive experience with infants
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S
- Professional references from prior families
- CPR and First Aid Certified (or willing to get it renewed)
Compensation: + / – $35.00 an hour. W-2. Overtime is paid for hours worked over 40 per week.
