Travel Newborn Care Specialist in New York
Start Date: Approximately June 13, 2026 (due date). The contract will be for twelve weeks with the possibility of an extension if mutually agreed upon.
Schedule:
The role will begin in NYC with overnight coverage from 7:00pm–7:00am, five days per week, for the first two weeks.
The family is open to structuring the role on a rotational schedule (e.g two weeks on, two weeks off).
Locations:

- The first few weeks be in NYC
- The role will then shift to Mantaloking, NJ for the month of July
- The role will shift to the Hamptons in August
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Everything involving the safety, care, and well-being of the child.
- Guiding the parents on best care practices while supporting the parent’s decisions.
- Help create a sleep and feeding schedule.
- Diaper and clothes changes as needed
- Maintaining overall healthy hygiene of the baby.
- The baby’s laundry.
- Equipment sterilization.
- Keeping the baby’s room and bathroom clean and tidy.
- Helping to maintain a clean and sterile environment for the baby.
- Providing a list of suggestions for the baby’s room and for baby-related products.
- To soothe the baby using skilled and proven techniques that help calm newborns and to help establish a calm and peaceful environment for the baby.
- Keep track of the overnight routine (the baby’s eating, sleeping, and behavioral patterns).
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience as a newborn care specialist and will be highly knowledgeable about infant care, discreet, warm, calm, proactive, organized, and professional, with excellent communication skills.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant NCS experience.
- Experience traveling to other locations for NCS roles.
- 24/7 coverage experience
- Legally permitted to work in the U.S.
- Proactive, supportive, and neat, clean, orderly.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent references.
- Trained in Infant CPR and First Aid.
- Fully Vaccinated (covid, Tdap, Flu, MMR)
- Ideally, Local to NYC for the live-out component of the role while in NYC
Compensation: $40-50+ per hour commensurate with experience and credentials.
