Location: Fort Greene, Brooklyn

Schedule: 8:30am – 5:30pm, Monday through Friday

Child’s age at start: 4.5 months old (b)

Ideal start date: March 9th, 2026

Job Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • Thoughtfully plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities that promote engagement, learning, and growth.
  • Diaper changes and supporting overall healthy hygiene
  • Bottle feedings, keeping the bottles and other equipment clean and sterilized
  • Maintaining the child’s sleeping and eating schedule 
  • Introducing solids and preparing meals for the child
  • Helping the child reach his milestones 
  • Keeping the child’s room clean and tidy, and the child’s laundry
  • Taking the child on walks and to parks
  • Reading to the child
  • Restocking the changing table, diaper bag, and child-related items
  • Maintain a daily communication log via a shared app or group chat with the parents

  • Genuinely passionate about working with children and supporting their cognitive, physical, and emotional development
  • Attentive and prioritizes the child’s safety and well-being
  • Warm, active, engaging, and nurturing 
  • Someone who will talk, read and sing to the child 
  • Professional, with a collaborative mindset, and an excellent communicator
  • Neat, clean, and organized
  • Patient, calm, and positive 
  • Interested in a long-term role and growing with the family 
  • Pet friendly. The family has a dog; however, the dog is typically in doggy daycare during the workday.

About the Family:

Loving, first-time parents are seeking a warm, experienced, and reliable nanny for their first child. Both parents work full-time and value a knowledgeable caregiver who can provide attentive, thoughtful care. Their baby is very social and inquisitive and thrives with caregivers who enjoy engaging with him.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of recent nanny experience 
  • Extensive experience with infants
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S
  • Professional references from prior families
  • Fully vaccinated (MMR, Tdap, Covid, Flu)
  • CPR and First Aid Certified (or willing to get it renewed)
  • Pet friendly 

Compensation: $35.00 – $40.00/hour. W-2. Overtime is paid after 40 hours per week.

  • Vacation: 10 paid vacation days
  • Paid major holidays
  • Sick/Personal Days: 7 per year
  • MTA reimbursement
  • Other benefits, such as a healthcare stipend is negotiable
