Position Overview:
This family is seeking a full-time, education-focused High Profile Career Nanny to provide a nurturing, structured, and developmentally intentional environment for their infant. The ideal candidate will bring advanced knowledge of early childhood development, curriculum-building, and structured play, paired with hands-on infant care expertise. This is a specialized role for a candidate who approaches childcare with intentionality, structure, and long-term developmental goals in mind.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate, enriching, and engaging activities to foster cognitive, emotional, and physical development.
- Design and implement curriculum-inspired learning activities, structured enrichment, and ongoing developmental observation to support the children’s growth and milestones.
- Support overall infant care including diaper changes, hygiene routines, and bottle feeding (with proper cleaning and sterilization).
- Maintain the child’s sleep and feeding schedule, track milestones, and guide early learning experiences.
- Introduce solids and prepare meals for the child as appropriate, supporting healthy nutrition and developmental readiness.
- Maintain a clean and organized nursery and shared spaces, including child’s laundry and toys.
- Facilitate reading, tummy time, sensory and fine motor activities, walks, and other structured enrichment.
- Maintain a detailed communication log for parents, tracking progress, patterns, and observations on the child’s growth.
- Collaborate closely with parents on the child’s long-term development and educational goals.

- Experienced in early childhood development, Montessori, or teaching settings.
- Someone who combines nurturing, hands-on infant care with thoughtful curriculum-building and structured enrichment.
- Skilled at intentionally engaging infants in structured activities that support early cognitive, language, motor, and social-emotional development.
- Observant, data-minded, and capable of tracking developmental milestones and patterns to provide meaningful feedback to parents.
- Safety-conscious, physically capable, and tech-savvy to manage logs and updates efficiently.
- Aligned with the family’s values of honesty, integrity, independent thinking, and a growth mindset.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of recent professional nanny or governess experience
- Extensive experience with infants
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Strong professional references from prior families
- Fully vaccinated and up-to-date with Covid booster and MMR vaccinations
- CPR and First Aid Certified (or willing to renew)
- Commitment to minimal phone use during caregiving
- Candidates with advanced education in early childhood development, Montessori, or teaching backgrounds are highly preferred.
Compensation: $40-55 /hr (gross). Overtime (1.5x the base rate) after 40 hours worked per week. Guaranteed 40-45 hours a week or more.
