Location: Milan, Italy
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 – 18:00
Children: Two children, preschool age

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Plan and facilitate age-appropriate, enriching activities that support learning and development
  • School drop-off and pick-up
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children
  • Manage the children’s laundry and wardrobes
  • Maintain the children’s rooms and shared spaces in a tidy, organized manner
  • Support the children’s daily routines and healthy hygiene habits
  • Read to the children, explore parks and libraries, and engage in active indoor/outdoor play
  • Travel with the family on occasion (e.g., London, New York)
  • Flexibility for occasional weekend hours, with advance notice

Ideal Candidate:

  • Genuinely passionate about children’s growth and development (cognitive, physical, and emotional)
  • Fluent in Italian and English (other languages a plus)
  • Warm, caring, and fun, with an energetic, engaging approach to play-based learning
  • Highly attentive, with a strong focus on safety and well-being
  • Seeking a long-term position and a meaningful partnership with a family
  • Background in early childhood education is strongly valued

Requirements:

  • Must be based in Milan or readily available to relocate.
  • Permitted to work in Italy and an EU passport holder.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional nanny or childcare experience
  • Demonstrated experience with preschool and school-aged children
  • Fluency in Italian and English
  • Ability to travel with the family on occasion, with advance notice (typically 2–3 weeks per year)
  • Professional references from prior families
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Current pediatric first aid certification
