Location: Soho, Manhattan

Age of child: 3-month-old

Start date: As soon as they find the right fit!

General schedule: Saturdays and Sundays from approximately 9 am – 5 pm. Flexibility is needed. Summer weekends are spent in the Hamptons.

Guaranteed 16 hours per weekend during the school year and 20 hours per weekend spent in the Hamptons.

The Ideal Candidate:

This position is ideal for a nanny seeking a steady, long-term weekend opportunity.
A nanny with significant experience working with infants and toddlers, and is knowledgeable about children’s development & genuinely loves caring for them.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Actively engaging the children in fun, age-appropriate activities.
Supporting the achievement of age-appropriate milestones (e.g., transitioning to solids, learning to walk, potty training, etc). Tummy time, reading, etc.
Diaper changes and supporting healthy hygiene.
Bottle feedings and the sterilization of the bottles and baby equipment.
Maintaining the child’s nap and eating schedules.
Child’s laundry.
Meal preparation for the children.
Taking the child on walks, to parks, and eventually to playdates and activities.
Keeping the home’s main spaces and the child’s room clean and tidy.

Requirements:

Compensation and Benefits:

$40.00 + gross per hour, depending on the right candidate’s experience, flexibility, and credentials. Overnight rate of $150.00 when traveling.
2-3 sick days per year
One weekend of PTO per year
Payment for weekends not worked
