Schedule: The core hours of care are 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. However, the family is happy to guarantee up to 25 hours per week for candidates seeking more hours.

A typical extended schedule could be 1:00–6:00 PM or 2:00 – 7:00 PM, depending on the nanny’s availability and interest in taking on additional responsibilities such as light tidying, meal prep, or errands before school pick-up.

A warm and welcoming family in the Upper East Side is seeking a kind, attentive, and engaging nanny to care for their vibrant 3-year-old daughter. The family’s younger daughter (age 1) will primarily be in daycare during the nanny’s working hours. 

Key Responsibilities:

• School pick-up and accompanying the child to activities or playdates
  
• Planning fun, creative, and screen-free play
  
• Preparing and serving simple, healthy meals
  
• Light housekeeping related to the children (laundry, tidying, organizing)
  
• Communicating with the parents about the child’s day and any school updates
  
• Nurturing the child’s overall development (social, emotional, and cognitive)

Ideal Candidate:

• Warm, patient, and attentive
  
• Proactive, engaging, playful, and active – genuinely loves caring for children
  
• Comfortable taking public transportation
  
• Spanish-speaking is a plus (not required)
  
• Long-term availability

Requirements:

• 3+ years of nanny experience with a similar age group
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S
• 2–3 strong, relevant references
• Fully Vaccinated 
• CPR and First Aid Certified (or willing to get it renewed)
