Location: Turtle Bay, NYC
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm in addition to one or two evenings per week. Guaranteed 45 + hours per week. Flexibility with the schedule is needed.
Children’s ages: 1 and 3 year old (girls)
Ideal start date: ASAP

- Enjoys engaging the children in educational activities and imaginative play.
- Genuinely passionate about supporting a child’s cognitive, physical, and emotional growth.
- Flexible and Adaptable.
- Proactive, takes initiative, and reliable.
- Clean, neat, and organized.
- A strong communicator who works well independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable in a home where parents work remotely.
- Seeking a long-term role with a family to build a lasting relationship.
- Prepare healthy, home-cooked meals and snacks. A nanny who enjoys involving children in the kitchen—especially in fun baking activities—would be a great fit.
Job Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- Engaging the children in age-appropriate activities.
- Diaper changes and maintaining healthy hygiene.
- Managing the children’s sleep and eating schedules.
- Children’s laundry.
- Prepare healthy snacks and meals for the children.
- Reading to the children and taking them to the park and playdates.
- Keeping the children’s room and shared spaces clean and tidy.
- Assist with daily hair care and dressing the children. Experience with braiding textured hair is a plus!
- Plan fun and creative activities with the children.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of FT nanny experience with infants and toddlers.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- 2–3 strong, relevant references.
- Flexible with scheduling.
- Ability to cook healthy meals for the children.
- Great communication skills.
- Strong moral compass and the ability to balance firmness with warmth.
- Ability to travel with the family a couple of times a year.
Pluses but not required:
- Experience with the Montessori method
- Bilingual
Compensation: ~ $35-40 per hour + OT after 40 hours, gross pay.
