Location: Park Slope, Brooklyn

Schedule: 8:00 – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday

Child’s age at start: 2 months old and 2 years old

Ideal start date: April, 2026

Job Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • Thoughtfully plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities that promote engagement and learning
  • Diaper changes and supporting overall healthy hygiene
  • Maintaining the children’s sleeping and eating schedules
  • Children’s Laundry
  • Meal preparation 
  • Sterilizing bottles and baby equipment 
  • Helping the children reach their milestones 
  • Keeping the children’s room clean and tidy
  • Taking the children to Prospect Park and on walks and playdates 
  • Reading to the children
  • Restocking the changing table, diaper bag, and child-related items
  • Maintain a daily communication log via a shared app or group chat with the parents

  • Interested in a long-term role and growing with the family 
  • Pet friendly – the family has a friendly cat. 
  • A candidate who is comfortable with meal preparation for the family when time allows will be appreciated, especially in the beginning, while the baby is still napping frequently
  • A background or education in early childhood development is valued 

About the Family:

Loving parents in Brooklyn are seeking a warm, experienced, and collaborative nanny. Both parents work full-time from a designated home office space and value a knowledgeable, friendly caregiver who can provide attentive, thoughtful care. Their two-year-old is very social and inquisitive, and thrives with caregivers who enjoy planning engaging, playful activities and supporting early development.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of recent nanny experience 
  • Extensive experience with infants
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S
  • Professional references from prior families
  • Fully vaccinated (MMR, Tdap, Covid, Flu)
  • CPR and First Aid Certified (or willing to get it renewed)
  • Pet friendly 

Compensation: $35.00 – $40.00/hour. W-2. Overtime is paid after 40 hours per week.
