#538 – Full-Time Nanny in the Flatiron District

Location: Flatiron, NYC

Schedule: Monday through Thursday from 8am – 5:15pm and Fridays from 8:00am – 1:00pm. 

Child’s age: 2.5 years old; 2 months

Ideal start date: May

The Ideal Candidate:

• A nanny who genuinely enjoys caring for children and has a deep understanding of their healthy growth and development.
• Professional, punctual, and reliable. 
• Recent experience with infants and toddlers.
• Seeking a long-term position with a family they can grow with.
• Someone warm, safety conscious, proactive, and engaging with the children.

Job Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

• Engaging the children in age-appropriate activities.
• Bringing the children to school and activities within walking distance.
• Bottle feedings and sterilization of bottles and other baby equipment.
• Diaper changes and supporting overall healthy hygiene.
• Managing the children’s sleeping and eating schedules. 
• Manage the children’s laundry (washer/dryer in-unit).
• Reading, playing, and taking them to the park and the building’s play area.
• Meal preparation for the children.
• Assisting with restocking essentials like diapers, wipes, and the diaper bag.
• Keeping the child’s room and shared spaces clean and tidy.
• Plan activities and playdates.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of recent nanny experience with similar age groups. 
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• 2–3 strong, relevant references.
• Infant CPR certified (or willing to renew certification).
• Vaccinated; covid, flu, tdap, mmr

Compensation: $30-35 per hour. Overtime will be paid at 1.5x the base rate.
