Full Time Nanny Full-Time HousekeeperBookmark Details
Full-Time Nanny/Housekeeper in Chelsea, NYC
Location: Chelsea, NYC
Childs Age: 5 month old
Ideal start date: March / April
New parents seek a dedicated, proactive, and engaging nanny/housekeeper. They are offering a guaranteed full-time schedule of 40-50 hours per week, although they currently only require about 30 hours per week of childcare and housekeeping.
Their hourly needs will increase over time to a full-time schedule of 40-50 hours per week, with the number of guaranteed weekly hours based on the right candidate’s preferences
Scheduling flexibility is key as weekly schedules will be determined in advance based on their needs, and they need someone who can travel with them several times per year to take care of the child.
General Schedule:
Weekly schedules will vary depending on the family’s needs that week and will be planned in advance. Currently most weeks will require approximately 30 hours of work only, but they will be paying the guaranteed full-time schedule of 40-50 hours per week.
Typical Schedule For Most Weeks
- Monday-Friday, 8am-1pm
- 1-2 evenings per week, 630pm-1030pm
- Occasional weekend hours
When the evening schedule is required, the daytime schedule will be adjusted. For example, you may not have to work Friday during the day and only from 630pm-10pm at night. Unless traveling with the family, no week will require more than 6 working days (with many weeks being 5 days or less).
Travel / Holidays
Family needs their nanny to travel on vacation with them several times per year to help take care of the baby. These trips will range from a couple days to 1-2 weeks long and are typically to very interesting and high end destinations. Travel may occur on major holidays but this will only be a couple times a year. Travel will be planned at least 1 month in advance. Because they don’t know which holidays they will be traveling for, this position doesn’t include any paid holidays but includes a high number of paid vacation days which can be used on holidays where the family isn’t traveling.
