Location: Murray Hill, NYC

Schedule: New parents are looking for two ROTA nannies to join their family. You can choose between two options for the schedule:

2 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off: One nanny works for two weeks, followed by two weeks off.

Weekday and Weekend Nannies: One nanny will work full-time from Monday to Thursday/Friday, while the second nanny will cover weekends from Thursday/Friday to Sunday.

The family is focused on finding the right fits for their needs and will finalize the schedule based on the best candidates.

Age of the Child: The child is currently 11 weeks old.

Ideal Start Date: first or second week of December

  • Proven knowledge and record of supporting developmental milestones, such as introducing solids and encouraging motor skills.

  • Trustworthy and honest, and builds strong relationships based on open communication.

  • Empathetic and nurturing, with a genuine love for children and their well-being.

  • Flexible with hours and ability to adapt to changing needs.

 

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to;

  • Everything involving the safety, care, and well-being of the child. . 

  • Provide attentive care, including feeding, diaper changes, and maintaining hygiene.

  • Actively engaging the child in age-appropriate developmental activities, including interactive play, encouraging language development, and stimulating cognitive and motor skills.

  • Supporting the achievement of age-appropriate milestones (e.g. transitioning to solids, learning to walk, etc).

  • Supporting healthy hygiene. Diaper changes, restocking diapers and wipes, and dressing the child.

  • Bottle feedings and the sterilization of the bottles and equipment.

  • Keep parents informed of feeding times and nap schedules.

  • Meal preparation for the child as he transitions to solids and clean-up after meals.

  • Organize, tidy and sanitize common areas and manage laundry related to the child.

  • Bedtime and bathtime routine.

  • Keeping the child’s room and the main spaces clean and tidy.

  • Maintain open communication with parents regarding daily activities and any needs. Collaborate with parents on scheduling and practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant FT nanny experience.

  • Minimum of years of FT experience with infants.

  • Legally permitted to work in the U.S.

  • 2-3 valid references

  • Ability to travel on occasion

  • Must love dogs - the family has two sweet and friendly French Bulldogs

 

Annual Salary: Competitive and determined by experience and credentials, starting at approximately $30 per hour and up to around $45 or more per hour. 

Benefits: 12 days of PTO, 5 paid sick days per year, major holidays, and a health insurance stipend.
