A Nanny Match Jobs

A tight-knit and welcoming family in Harrison, NY, seeks an experienced nanny for their son, age 3.5 years old. 

The general schedule is Saturdays and Sundays from 9am to 6pm, with some flexibility needed. 

Additional hours could be possible throughout the week (e.g,  date nights or when the family’s full time nanny is off) for a candidate who is seeking more hours. 

The family is willing to guarantee 20 hours per week for a strong candidate seeking that commitment.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to;

• Engaging the child in age-appropriate developmental activities to stimulate play and interaction. 

• Coming up with fun, creative, and engaging activities.

• Reading to the child.

• Diaper changes and assistance with potty training.

• Maintaining the child’s routines and schedule.

• Child’s laundry.

• Meal preparation for the child and kitchen clean-up afterward.

• Keeping the child’s room and the main spaces clean and tidy.

The right candidate is patient, reliable, safety-conscious, covid-conscious, warm, genuine, honest, a team player, and engaging with the child.  

Must feel comfortable around dogs. The family has one large dog.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of relevant nanny experience.

• Accessible to Harrison, NY

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work.

• Legally permitted to work in the U.S. 

• Clean background check.

• Able to commit to at least one year.

• 2-3 relevant references. 

• COVID vaccinated and boosted (or willing to get boosted)

• Must be covid consciousness.

• Dog-friendly.

A background in an educational atmosphere or occupational therapy would be a plus, but is not a requirement for the job. 

Salary: $35.00 +  an hour or higher, depending on the right candidate’s experience and credentials.
