A Nanny Match Jobs

A bustling family of 6 in  Rumson, NJ is seeking an experienced, energetic, proactive, and organized FT nanny for their 4 children, ages 6, 5, 5, and 2 years old. 

This position can be live out, live-in Monday through Friday, or live-in 7 days a week. Private accommodations are provided for a live-out nanny.

The general schedule for live-in is approximately 7:30 am - 6:30 pm, Monday through Friday with potential for weekend hours. 

For a live-out candidate, the ideal schedule is approximately 10:30 am - 7:00 pm.

Job responsibilities include everything relating to the well-being of the children, including but not limited to;

• Engaging and stimulating the children with age-appropriate activities.

• Driving the children to classes, sports, and activities and arranging playdates in the family car.

• Meal preparation for the children.

• Child-related chores, including dishes & laundry, and keeping the children’s room and the main spaces clean and tidy. 

• Restocking child-related items.

• Keeping the children on schedule with meals and a nap for the little one.

• Changing diapers.

• Occasional travel with the family.

• Keeping the children’s schedule organized and making sure the children have everything they need for activities.

• Occasional homework help.

The ideal candidate will have 4 + years of relevant FT nanny experience and will proactively engage the children with age-appropriate activities.  

The person will be warm, active,  fun, trustworthy, honest, reliable, proactive, discreet, professional, a great communicator, and seeking a long-term position for many years to come. 

Someone with a great sense of humor, positive energy, and the desire to become an extended member of the family will fit right with the family. 

Must be an excellent driver, as a core part of the role will be transporting children to and from school and afterschool activities in the family’s car. 

Must feel comfortable keeping children safe in the water. 

Must be Covid vaccinated and boosted and willing to keep up with regular boosts. Strong preference for a Covid-cautious individual.

The older children will be in school most of the day starting in September. 

Requirements:

• 4+ years of relevant nanny experience.

• Active, energetic, organized, and proactive. 

• Legally permitted to work in the U.S. 

• 2-3 relevant references.

• Vaccinated.

• An experienced driver with a clean driving record.

• Ability to keep children safe in the water. 

• Ability to travel domestically.

Annual Salary: Competitive with market rates and will be based on the agreed-upon schedule/hours and the right candidate’s credentials.
