New parents in Armonk, NY, seek an experienced, responsible, and engaging full-time nanny for their son, who will be 2 months old. The ideal start date is mid-October.
The general schedule is Monday through Friday, 60 hours a week, from 6:30/7:00 am to 6:30/7:00 pm.
This position can be live-in 7 days a week or live-in 5 days a week from Monday through Friday, depending on the right candidate’s location and preferences. A private bedroom and bathroom will be provided for the nanny.
Both parents work full-time from home and the office (hybrid) and occasionally travel for work.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to everything relating to the child’s care and well-being:

Engaging and stimulating the child with age-appropriate activities.

Bottle feedings, sterilizing the bottles.

Maintaining the nap and feeding schedules.

Reading, playtime, walks.

Restocking child-related items.

Cleaning the baby’s toys and equipment.

Taking the child to classes and activities and arranging playdates.

Meal preparation for the child.

Children's laundry

Keeping the child’s room and the main spaces of the home clean and tidy.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of relevant nanny experience and will have strong communication skills, will be honest, neat, organized, trustworthy, safety-conscious, direct, knowledgeable about the healthy growth and development of children, and enthusiastic about nurturing the children’s interests, and will prioritize facilitating a safe and loving environment for the child.
The right candidate will be seeking a long-term position in which they can grow with the family.
Must be an excellent driver and have previous experience driving with children.
There is a pool at the home; the nanny must be comfortable enough in the water to be able to keep the child safe at all times in and around the pool.
Requirements

5+ years of relevant nanny experience

Driver’s license and clean driving record.

Legally permitted to work in the U.S.

Clean background check.

CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to get it renewed).

Vaccinated and boosted
Salary: $32.00 - 42.00 gross hourly
Benefits: Two weeks of paid vacation, paid major holidays, and 5 sick days. A healthcare stipend can be offered depending on the right candidate’s needs.
