**POSITION FILLED**FT Nanny Needed in White Plains, NY

A tight-knit and loving family of 4 in White Plains, NY is seeking a compassionate, proactive, and engaging nanny for their 2 children, a toddler, and an infant. 

The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 am - 5:30 pm. 

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to everything relating to the children’s care and well-being: 

 

  • Engaging with the children in age-appropriate activities.

  • Driving to and from school and activities.

  • Indoor and outdoor play.

  • Engaging the children in fun, creative, and educational activities.

  • Meal preparation for the children.

  • Bottle feedings and sterilizing equipment.

  • Arranging playdates and activities. 

  • Maintaining eating and napping schedules.

  • Diaper changes.

  • Putting the children down for naps.

  • Child-related chores, including dishes & laundry, and keeping the children’s room and the main spaces clean, tidy and organized.

The ideal candidate will be communicative, honest, organized, creative, reliable, trustworthy, a self-starter with a strong work ethic, safety-conscious, covid conscious, knowledgeable about children’s healthy growth and development, enthusiastic about nurturing the children’s interests, and will prioritize education and learning.

A background and/or education in Child Care/ ECE is a major plus, but not a requirement. 

 

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant nanny experience 

  • Experience working with multiple children in the same family.

  • Driver’s license and clean driving record.

  • Ability to cook healthy meals for the children. 

  • Legally permitted to work in the U.S. 

  • Must be dog friendly 

  • Clean background check.

  • CPR/First Aid certified for adults and infants (or willing to get it renewed).

  • Vaccinated and boosted - must also have TDAP


 

Salary: + / - $30.00 gross hourly 

Benefits: Two weeks of paid vacation, paid major holidays, 5 sick days.
