A Nanny Match Jobs

Loving parents in the West Village, NYC seek an experienced, engaging, and reliable FT nanny for their daughter, age 15 months old. 

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 6:00 pm.

Travel is included mainly during the summer months to the family’s home in the Hamptons. 

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to everything relating to the child’s care and well-being: 

• Engaging and stimulating the child with age-appropriate activities.

• Taking the child to classes and activities. 

• Arranging playdates, outdoor play, indoor play, and reading. 

• Meal preparation for the child.

• Child-related chores, including dishes & laundry, and keeping the child’s room and the main spaces clean and tidy. 

• Restocking child-related items.

• Maintaining the child’s nap and feeding schedules. 

• Occasional travel and overnights. 

The ideal candidate will have 5 + years of relevant nanny experience and will proactively engage the child with age-appropriate activities and will be warm, trustworthy, honest, reliable, proactive, a self-starter, discreet, professional, energetic, and seeking a long term position for many years to come. 

Must like dogs. The family has a mid-size Labradoodle who is calm and very friendly. 

Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant nanny experience.

• Ability to travel.

• 2-3 relevant references.

• Vaccinated.

• Dog-friendly.

Pluses (but not requeiremnts)

• Fluency in another language

• Ability to drive and swim for summer travel

Salary: $25-35.00 an hour based on the qualifications of the applicant.
