A Nanny Match Jobs

A warm and welcoming family in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn, seeks an experienced and engaging nanny for their daughter, age 4 months old. The position starts as soon as possible; however, there is some flexibility with the start date. 

This general schedule is Monday - Friday from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.

The parents are currently seeking a family in their area with a child in their daughter’s age group to create a nanny-share. When they find the right family, this position will become a nanny-share position, and the hourly pay will reflect the additional child. Ideally, the locations will be divided between both families. 

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Engaging and stimulating the child/children with fun and age-appropriate activities.

• Diaper changes.

• Bottle feedings and sterilization of equipment.

• Supporting the achievement of age-appropriate milestones (walking, eating solids, sleep/potty training, learning to read) 

• Meal preparation.

• Helping to maintain the children’s nap and eating schedules. 

• Children's laundry. 

• Restocking child-related items and the diaper bag.

• Walks, reading, indoor and outdoor play. 

• Keeping the main spaces of the home/s and the children’s room clean and tidy.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of relevant FT nanny experience with infants and multiples and will be warm, kind, playful, engaging, proactive, honest, organized, safety conscious, knowledgeable about child development, enthusiastic about nurturing the children’s interests, and have excellent communication skills and excellent references.

The family's ideal Nanny is someone who finds magic in the world. Someone who loves singing, playing in the park & storytime. Above all engages & empowers their daughter. 

Requirements:

• 3+ years of relevant nanny experience.

• Legally permitted to work in the U.S. 

• Clean background check.

• Able to commit to at least a year. 

• 2-3 valid references. 

• CPR certified or willing to get it renewed. 

• Vaccinated.

Salary: $30.00 - 40.00 gross hourly depending on experience, credentials, and whether or not it will be one or two children.
