**POSITION FILLED** Seasonal NY-Based ROTA Nanny Needed - Winters OFF

A loving, active, and adventurous family in New York is seeking an experienced, energetic, and full-time nanny for their son, age 7 months old.
This position starts in March 2023.
From the middle of March to the end of December, every year, the position will be a ROTA (rotational) position with another full-time nanny.
This is the perfect position for a candidate seeking a work/life balance where they can spend more time traveling, with family, or anything they like for the winter months.
The end of December, January, February, and the beginning of March are off. Compensation is listed below.
The schedule from mid-March until the end of December is 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off, approximately 88 hours per “on” week.
The family has a home in West Harrison, where they spend the weekends, and a home in Jersey City (possibly moving to Manhattan in the near future), where they spend Monday through Friday when they are not traveling. There are private accommodations for the nanny when they are living in.
The family is seeking a nanny who can grow with them and be there for many years to come. Dad works from home and his office in Manhattan, and mom is a warm and welcoming SAHM.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to;

Engaging the child with fun and age-appropriate activities.

Supporting the achievement of age-appropriate milestones (walking, eating solids, sleep/potty training, learning to read)

Diaper changes.

Bottle feedings and sterilization of equipment.

Maintaining the children’s nap and eating schedules.

Children's laundry.
-
Meal preparation for the child.

Restocking child-related items and the diaper bag.

Walks, reading, indoor and outdoor play.

Arranging playdates + transportation to and from activities

Keeping the main spaces of the home and the child’s room clean and tidy.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of relevant nanny experience with infants and will be proactive, energetic, warm, honest, organized, patient, safety-conscious, knowledgeable about child development, enthusiastic about nurturing the children’s interests and have excellent communication skills.
Requirements

2+ years of relevant FT nanny experience with infants.

Located in the Tri-state area.

Legally permitted to work in the U.S.

Clean background and motor vehicle check.

2-3 valid references.

CPR certified or willing to get it renewed.

Covid, TDAP and Flu vaccinations.
A driver’s license is a bonus but not required.
Annual Salary: Approximately $78,440 per year based on approximately $40.00 gross per hour, an average of 44 hours per week for 42 weeks and a $4,520 retention bonus from the end of December until the middle of March.
Benefits: Health insurance, 5 sick/personal days per year, monthly metro card if applicable, holiday pay. Paid legally with employer contributions to social security, unemployment, and medicare.
