A Nanny Match Jobs

A warm and welcoming family in Park Slope, Brooklyn, seeks an engaging and supportive FT Nanny to start as soon as possible. The child is 2 years old. 

The general schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00am - 5:30 pm ET. 

In June, the hours will be up for renewal as the hours may change to approximately 40 hours per week. The family will have a better understanding of the child’s summer schedule by May, and the parents and nanny can make an informed decision on how to best proceed. 

The ideal candidate will have several years of relevant experience and will be nurturing, consistent, patient, creative, active, playful and enjoys teaching new things and a team player who wants to work collaboratively with the parents and appreciates open and genuine communication. 

Someone who loves working with children, especially toddlers, and is interested in child development and fostering curiosity. 

Job responsibilities include everything related to keeping the child safe and engaged:

• Engaging the child in fun and active age-appropriate educational activities.

• Reading.

• Taking the child to activities, parks, and playdates.

• Planning activities.

• Child’s laundry. 

• Diaper changes. 

• Meal preparation.

• Indoor and outdoor play. 

• Help keep the main spaces clean and tidy.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3 + years of relevant nanny experience.

• Legally permitted to work in the U.S. 

• Clean background check.

• 2-3 excellent references.

• Experience with dietary aversions and allergies.  

• All available covid vaccinations including the most recent bivalent booster, flu, TDAP, MMR, Shingles, Pneumonia 

Salary: + / - $27.00 - $32.00 an hour, depending on experience and credentials.

Benefits: 10 vacation days, 5 sick/personal days, 10 federal holidays, monthly metrocard if needed.
