**POSITION FILLED** FT Nanny Needed in Brooklyn

Experienced and Professional FT Nanny Needed for an active and loving family in Brooklyn near the Barclays Center for an 8 months old (g) and a 3-year-old (b) to start as soon as possible.
The hours are Monday through Friday from 8 am - 6 pm, with some flexibility needed.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of nanny experience working with infants and toddlers and will be a great communicator, honest, trustworthy, direct, friendly, proactive, highly organized, clean, reliable, kind, empathetic, discreet, and knowledgeable about infant care and child development.
The toddler is in school and has after-school activities for most of the day. The nanny will be primarily with the infant (8 months old) during the day, but the nanny must feel comfortable caring for two children if needed.
Job responsibilities include everything relating to the well-being of the children, including but not limited to;

Engaging and stimulating the children with fun and age-appropriate activities.

Bottle feeding and sterilization of bottles and equipment.

Diaper changes and general support of healthy hygiene.

Helping to maintain the feeding and napping schedule.

Meal preparation for the children.

Children’s laundry.

Restocking child-related items and the diaper bag.

Keeping the main spaces clean and tidy.

Supporting the achievement of age-appropriate milestones (walking, eating solids and as the child continues to grow, sleep/potty training, learning to read)
The family is seeking a nanny who can be with them for years to come. Must be a team player and have excellent communication skills, excellent references, and sound judgment.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant nanny experience.
- Legally permitted to work in the U.S.
- Clean background check.
- CPR/First Aid certified for adults and infants (or willing to get it renewed).
- Flexibility with the schedule.
- Discreet and responsible.
- Vaccinated.
Salary: $30.00 + (or higher based on credentials) gross hourly for the first 40 hours and $45 + gross hourly for the OT.
Benefits: PTO; paid federal holidays, 2 weeks of paid vacaction, 5 sick days, and a monthly MetroCard reimbursement.
