** POSITION FILLED ** #501 - Full-Time Nanny Needed in West Village

Location: West Village, NYC
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (flexible; may include 1-2 nights per week until 8 PM and occasional Saturday nights)
Age of the Child: The child is currently 11 weeks old.
Ideal Start Date: Mid to end of October.
The Ideal Candidate:

Proven track record of supporting developmental milestones, such as introducing solids and encouraging motor skills.

Attentive and nurturing, with a genuine love for children and their well-being.

Flexible with hours, including occasional late nights and weekends.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to;

Everything involving the safety, care, and well-being of the child. .

Provide attentive care, including feeding, diaper changes, and maintaining hygiene.

Actively engaging the child in age-appropriate developmental activities, including interactive play, encouraging language development, and stimulating cognitive and motor skills.

Supporting the achievement of age-appropriate milestones (e.g. transitioning to solids, learning to walk, etc).
-
Supporting healthy hygiene. Diaper changes, restocking diapers and wipes, and dressing the child.

Bottle feedings and the sterilization of the bottles and equipment.
-
Keep parents informed of feeding times and nap schedules.

Meal preparation for the child as he transitions to solids and clean-up after meals.

Organize, tidy and sanitize common areas and manage laundry related to the child.

Bedtime and bathtime routine.

Keeping the child’s room and the main spaces clean and tidy.

Maintain open communication with parents regarding daily activities and any needs. Collaborate with parents on childcare practices.
Requirements:

5+ years of hands-on experience caring for infants, particularly in the 3-12 month age range.

Vaccinated.

Legally permitted to work in the U.S.

2-3 relevant references.

Resides within a reasonable commuting distance from West Village
Nice to Haves:

Ability to travel with the family.

Flexibility with the schedule and ability to stay late on occasion.

Knowledge of other languages, particularly French, is a plus but not a requirement.
Compensation: $30-35+ per hour, depending on the right candidate's experience, flexibility, and credentials.
Benefits: 10 days of paid vacation. 5-6 paid sick days and paid major holidays. MTA card reimbursement. Other benefits, such as a healthcare stipend, can be negotiated for the right candidate.
