Newborn Care Specialist on the UES for 6-9 months

Due date: November 10th

Location: Upper East Side of Manhattan

Schedule: 24/7 to start. Amenable to a 5-day-per-week schedule or 14 days on and 2 days off after an agreed-upon date. A 4-5 hour break will be included every day. 

This position is perfect for an NCS seeking a long-term position! 

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to;

• Everything involving the safety, care, and well-being of the child. . 

• Maintaining the baby’s sleeping and feeding schedules.

• Diaper and clothes changes as needed 

• Maintaining overall healthy hygiene of the baby.

• The baby’s laundry.

• Equipment sterilization.

• Keeping the baby's room and bathroom clean, sanitized and tidy. 

• Helping to maintain a clean and sterile environment for the baby

• Guiding the parents on best care practices while supporting the parent’s decisions.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience with infants and working and will be punctual, reliable, professional, a positive attitude, attentive, nurturing, honest, flexible, proactive, safety conscious, observant, attentive, a team player, open to feedback, and actively engaged with the babies.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant NCS/ Night Nurse experience.

• Legally permitted to work in the U.S.

• Neat, clean, tidy

• Excellent communication skills.

• Excellent references. 

• Trained in Infant CPR and First Aid.

• Vaccinated

The mom speaks Russian, and Russian-speaking NCSs are encouraged to apply! 

Compensation: Starting at $700 or more per day, depending on experience.
