A Nanny Match Jobs

An experienced Nanny is needed for a 4-month-old baby girl in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn, until the end of August -- with the possibility of an extension to a long-term position if mutually agreed.

The ideal start date is around June 12th.

The schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00am - 3:00pm.

This is the perfect opportunity for a nanny seeking a great work/life balance over the summer! 

Job responsibilities include everything relating to the well-being of the child, including but not limited to;

• Engaging the child in age-appropriate activities (i.e. tummy time, reading, talking to the baby)

• Bottle feeding and sterilization of bottles and equipment.

• Diaper changes and general support of healthy hygiene.

• Help maintain the feeding and napping schedules.

• Help introduce solids.

• Taking the baby for walks.

• Child’s laundry.

• Restocking child-related items and the diaper bag.

• Keeping the main spaces clean and tidy.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of relevant nanny experience working with infants and toddlers and will be upbeat, positive, a great communicator, patient, kind, honest, proactive, organized, clean, tidy, reliable, energetic, passionate about working with babies, and knowledgeable about child development.

The position will be contracted from the start date in June through the end of August, except for 1.5 weeks of summer off from June 26th to July 8th. By the end of July/beginning of August, there will be an opportunity to discuss the possibility of the position becoming long-term if mutually agreed.

Mom and Dad both work FT, hybrid schedules. 

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant nanny experience with infants and toddlers.

• At least 1 year of recent experience with infants.

• Legally permitted to work in the U.S. 

• CPR/First Aid certified for adults and infants (or willing to get it renewed)

• 2-3 valid references. 

• Accessibility to Cobble Hill

Compensation: approximately $30-33 per hour (net)

Benefits: holiday pay for the 4th of July. An increase in benefits if the position becomes long-term.
