A Nanny Match Jobs

A loving and active family of four in Tribeca, NYC, seeks a warm, energetic, and dependable part-time nanny for their 2 boys, twins, age 2.5 years old. 

This position starts as soon as possible, with some flexibility, ideally in February.  

The family can guarantee 12 hours per weekend, and additional hours can be offered on weeknights, depending on the right candidate’s availability and needs.

The general schedule is Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 am - 1:00 pm with the flexibility to adjust the hours when agreed, with advance notice.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to;

• Taking the children to parks, activities, and playdates.

• Reading, playing, and engaging with the children in fun and age-appropriate activities indoors and outdoors.

• Waking the children up, dressing them, and getting them ready for the day.

• Breakfast, lunch, and general meal preparation for the children.

• Changing diapers and supporting healthy hygiene.

• Children’s laundry. 

• Bedtime and bathtime routines.

• Coordinating playdates. 

• Keeping the children’s spaces and toys clean and sanitized. 

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of relevant experience with toddlers, experience with multiples, flexibility with the schedule and will be active, engaging, organized, resourceful, warm, friendly, can set and maintain rules and boundaries for the children, have excellent communication skills, and will be seeking a long-term PT weekend Nanny position.

The family has a sweet yellow lab that the nanny will not be responsible for, but the right fit will feel comfortable around dogs. 

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years of relevant nanny experience.

• 2-3 excellent references. 

• Safety conscious. 

• Energetic and engaging.

• Vaccinated.

• Dog-friendly. 

• Flexibility to watch the children for an entire weekend in the city a few times a year. 

A plus, but not a requirement, would be the ability to occasionally join the family in Long Island for a weekend, mostly in the summers. 

Salary: $40.00 - $50.00 gross hourly, depending on experience and credentials
