A kind and loving family of five in Greenwich Village, NYC, seeks a professional, energetic, reliable, part-time nanny for their 3 boys, ages 2, 4, and 6 years old.
This position starts as soon as possible, with some flexibility, no later than November 11th.
The family can guarantee up to 25 hours per week and can offer fewer, depending on the right candidate’s availability and needs.
The general schedule is Monday through Friday from around 3:30 pm - 6:30 pm.
The additional hours can be made available for a regular date night each week and/or by coming in early to help with children’s laundry, child-related errands, and meal preparation
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to;

School pick up; all three children go to the same school about 15 minutes walking distance away.

Taking the children to after school activities, the parks, and playdates.

Engaging the children in fun and age-appropriate activities indoors and outdoors.

Helping the youngest with potty training; changing diapers.

Children’s laundry.

Meal preparation for the children.

Keeping the children’s spaces and toys clean and tidy.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of relevant experience with toddlers through school-aged children, experience with multiples, and will be engaging, organized, resourceful, warm, friendly, can set and maintain rules and boundaries for the children, ensure they do their homework, have excellent communication skills, and will be seeking a long-term PT Nanny position.
REQUIREMENTS:

3+ years of relevant nanny experience.

Legally permitted to work in the U.S.

2-3 excellent references.

A plus, but not a requirement, would be the ability to join the family at their summer home in Long Island a few days a week for one month over the summers.
Salary: $40.00 - $43.00 depending on experience and credentials.
Benefits: 5 days of paid vacation, 3 sick/personal days, and paid major holidays, and MTA reimbursement.
