HNW Family Needs a Full-Time Nanny on UES

Position: Early Childhood Development Specialist
Summary: Using independent judgment and discretion, responsible for overseeing the development and care of the Principal’s infant child.
Schedule: Monday through Friday from 7:00 am until 7:00 pm
Location: Upper East Side, 91st Street and Madison Ave
Child’s Age: 3 months old at the start
Start date: September 2023
Essential Functions:

Determine and implement appropriate methods and activities to encourage and promote the developmental skills of the child through projects, college test preparation, and assistance with homework.

Create and execute and arrange interactive activities on a daily basis to stimulate brain and socio-emotional development.

Create, establish, and implement a social and educational schedule for the child and liaise with the Principals.

Document activities and events and report to the Principals regarding same.

Consult with other childhood professionals and/or providers as necessary to ensure an active schedule for the child.

Remain abreast of developments in childhood education.

Plan daily menus and provide meals with the goal of optimizing healthy intake and habits.

Responsible for maintaining appropriate supplies and ordering supplies as necessary for the child.

Provide transportation and travel with child and family when needed.

10 + years of relevant experience.

Experience working in a HNW or UHNW household.

A degree in childhood education is a plus but not required.

Good communication skills

Valid driver’s license.

Flexible to travel and work at various locations when needed.

Flexible to work late hours.

Knowledge of the community and activities available to children.

Physical stamina and mobility, including ability to reach, kneel and bend. Able to lift, push and pull 20 lbs.

Must be able to maintain a high degree of ethics and professionalism.

Must be well organized, a self-starter, and have the ability to work independently.

Diplomatic, tactful, and discrete concerning confidential information. Must demonstrate unquestionable integrity at all times.

COVID and Flu vaccinated and boosted (or willing to get boosted)

Legally permitted to work in the U.S.

Clean background check.

Annual Salary: $140,000 - $150,000
