A loving family in Muttontown, Long Island, is seeking an experienced and engaging Weekend Nanny in Muttontown, NY.
The position will ideally start September 15th, 2023.
The family has an 18 months old daughter and a newborn baby boy.
The schedule is Saturday and Sunday 8:30 am - 4:30pm. With some flexibility preferred. Guaranteed 16 hours per weekend.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to;

Engaging the children in age-appropriate developmental activities to stimulate play and interaction.

Ensuring children’s safety at all times

Diaper changes.

Assistance with hitting milestones.

Maintaining the children’s routines and schedule.

Newborn’s laundry as needed

Dressing the children.
-
Maintaining healthy hygiene for the children.

Reading to the children.
-
Naps and occasional bath time routine.
-
Bottle prep, sterilization of the bottles, and feeding.
-
Coming up with fun, creative, and engaging activities for the older child.

Meal preparation for the children (not cooking), feeding and kitchen clean-up afterward.

Keeping the children’s room and the main spaces clean and tidy.
The right candidate is responsible, reliable, trustworthy, warm and professional, safety-conscious, respectful to the parents requests as to how to care for the children, consistently exhibits a friendly/positive attitude, energetic, kind, patient, a team player, passionate about their position as a nanny, excellent work ethics, dependable, hard worker, has good judgment and is seeking a long-term weekend position.
Although they live about a mile and a half from the train station in Syosset, ideally, the nanny would be able to drive.
The family has a summer home in East Quogue, and it would be ideal if their weekend nanny could come out on Saturdays and Sundays on the weekends when they are there during summer.
Qualifications:

5+ years of relevant NCS/Baby nurse experience and/or professional nanny experience in private homes

Legally permitted to work in the U.S.

Excellent references.

Trained in Infant CPR and First Aid.

Ability to commute to and from work and lives within a reasonable distance.

Must feel comfortable around dogs. The family has a calm, friendly English Bulldog who stays in a separate area.
Salary: $30.00 + per hour
Benefits: PTO: One weekend off per year, 2-3 sick days per year and any major holidays that fall on a weekend.
