A tight-knit and loving family in Westchester is seeking an experienced, warm, and engaging full-time Nanny for their 2 children, ages 2 and 4 years old. The ideal start date is mid to late July.
They are also considering a temporary nanny for July 17th through around the 28th while they search for the right long-term fit. Candidates seeking summer temporary roles in Westchester - please apply.
The schedule is 8:00 am - 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
The ideal candidate will be energetic and warm, with good experience working with young children, and particularly someone who has experience caring for multiple kids at a time. The children are happy and easy-going, and they also love to conversate and ask lots of questions, so they looking for someone who is patient, engaging, and kind. Also, someone who is capable of enforcing routines/schedules and employing positive discipline.
The parents both work FT, and they are seeking someone they trust to provide excellent, fun, and loving care to their kids while they are at work.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to;

Engaging the children with age-appropriate activities.

Outdoor play, indoor play, and arranging playdates or daily outdoor excursions.

Reading to the children and encouraging creative play.

School pick-up and taking the child to activities.

Meal preparation.

Prepare and pack healthy school lunches and snacks.

Children’s laundry.

Maintaining the child’s eating and napping schedules.

Maintaining an open dialogue with the parents about day-to-day developments.

Keeping the child’s room and the main spaces in the home clean and tidy.
Requirements

5+ years of relevant nanny experience, including experience with preschool-age children.

2-3 relevant references.

Driver’s license and experience driving with children.

CPR and First Aid Certified (or willing to get it renewed).

Clean background check.

Vaccinated.
Salary: $30 gross hourly for the first 40 hours, $45.00 for overtime. Guaranteed 50 hours a week.
Benefits: 2 weeks of vacation, 5-6 sick days per year, MTA reimbursement, and a health insurance stipend is negotiable
