Seeking a responsible, experienced, and knowledgeable Newborn Care Specialist for a lovely family in Muttontown, NY.

The baby is due on August 4th and the position will be contracted for 8 weeks from the day the baby is born.

The schedule is 9:00pm - 7:00am, 6 days a week, with one weekday (Mon - Thurs) off.  

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to;

• Everything involving the safety, care, and well-being of the child.

• Providing guidance on best care practices, while remaining supportive of the parent’s decisions. 

• Bottle feedings, preparing bottles, sterilizing bottles.

• Diaper and clothes changes as needed,  maintaining overall healthy hygiene. 

• The baby’s laundry.

• Equipment sterilization.

• Keeping the baby’s room and bathroom clean and tidy. 

• Helping to maintain a clean and sterile environment for the baby. 

The ideal candidate will have many years of experience as a Baby Nurse / Newborn Care Specialist and will be responsible, reliable, professional, have excellent work ethics, have a positive attitude, attentive, nurturing, honest, flexible, proactive, a self-starter, and actively engaged with the baby.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant NCS/Baby nurse experience.

• Legally permitted to work in the U.S.

• Clean background check. 

• Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and sound judgment.

• Excellent references. 

• Trained in Infant CPR and First Aid.

• Preferably vaccinated 

• Ability to commute to and from work and lives within a reasonable distance.

Salary: + / - $35.00 or higher an hour depending on experience.
