A Nanny Match Jobs

Warm and welcoming parents in Soho seek an experienced and caring full-time nanny for their 7- month-old son and a newborn on the way! The ideal start date is April 1st.

The schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am - 6:00 or 7:00 pm. 50-55 hours guaranteed. 

The family is seeking a candidate who is interested in a long-term position and can be with them for many years to come as they grow their family. 

Flexibility and willingness to stay overnight occasionally will be appreciated and needed. There are private accommodations in the home for the nanny to use as needed. 

Both parents work, and the family travels often. They seek a team player who can take the lead when they are away and keep them updated with their children’s day to day.

This position will include travel to L.A., the Hamptons, and other domestic travel. A nanny who can travel internationally is a major plus but not a requirement.

They will have an NCS / Baby nurse for the first several months of the newborn's life. 

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Actively engaging the children in educational and fun age-appropriate activities.

• Supporting the achievement of age-appropriate milestones (walking, eating solids and as the child continues to grow, sleep/potty training, learning to read)

• Bottle feedings and washing and sterilizing bottles.

• Diaper changes.

• Maintaining the child’s nap and eating schedules.

• Children's laundry.

• Meal preparation for the children.

• Restocking child-related items and the diaper bag.

• Walks, reading, indoor and outdoor play.

• Keeping the home's main spaces and the child’s room clean and tidy.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of relevant nanny experience and be energetic, engaging, proactive, caring, honest, trustworthy, reliable,  organized, safety-conscious and loving. Someone who will be enthusiastic about nurturing the children’s interests, fostering curiosity, exposing the children to different cultures, and incorporating enriching activities into daily activities. 

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant nanny experience with infants. 

• Legally permitted to work in the U.S.

• Clean background check.

• 2-3 strong and recent references.

• CPR certified or willing to get it renewed.

• Flexibility with the schedule.

• Flexibility to travel.

Salary: Approximately $30.00 - 40.00 per hour based on the candidate’s experience and credentials.

A background in early childhood education or Montessori training will be a major plus but not a requirement.
