** POSITION FILLED ** #408 - Weekend Nanny Needed in NYC and Summers in the Hamptons

A tight-knit and active family in Flatiron, NYC, by Madison Sq. Park is seeking an energetic, patient, and proactive nanny who will engage their two children, ages 6 months and 2.5 years old, in fun and educational activities on the weekends.
The general hours are Saturdays and Sundays for approximately 11-12 hours a day.
22-24 hours per weekend guaranteed. Flexibility is needed.
The family spends July and August in the Hamptons. Additional hours are offered during those months arriving on Friday evenings and leaving Sunday evenings. There could be additional weekend travel to CT and L.I. throughout the year.
The position starts in March/April.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of relevant nanny experience with infants and toddlers and will be warm, nurturing, organized, tidy, punctual, engaging, patient, creative, active, playful, enthusiastic about nurturing the children’s interests, have excellent communication skills, excellent references, sound judgment, and interest in a long-term weekend nanny position.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Engaging the children in activities, indoor and outdoor play, playdates, etc.

Bottle feedings and sterilization of equipment.

Maintaining the children’s schedules.

Diaper changes, baths, and support of healthy hygiene.

Supporting the achievement of age-appropriate milestones (assist with potty training, tummy time, walking, eating solids, sleep/potty training, learning to speak and read)

Taking the children to activities, the park, classes, etc.

Keeping the main spaces of the homes and the children’s rooms clean and tidy, including floor areas where the children eat and play when otherwise not engaged with the children.

Meal preparation for the children, making baby food (homemade purees)

Children's laundry. Folding and putting clothes away.

Bedtime and bathtime.
Requirements:

5+ years of relevant nanny experience.

Ability to stay over Friday and Saturday nights when traveling/Hamptons.

Legally permitted to work in the U.S. and to work on a W-2.

COVID vaccinated, flu and tdap vaccinated

Clean background check.

Pet friendly (the family has a Bernadoodle)

Fully Vaccinated and boosted.

Team player attitude.
Private live-in accommodations will be provided in the Hamptons and CT.
Salary: $35-45 an hour gross hourly based on experience and credentials.
Benefits: major holidays that fall on work days or time and a half pay, 3 sick/personal days, MTA reimbursement, and other benefits can be negotiated for the right candidates.
