A Nanny Match Jobs

A warm and welcoming family in Westchester is seeking an experienced nanny for their children, and infant, and a toddler.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 6:30 pm, with some flexibility needed. 

The position offers a live-in option from Monday through Thursday for nannies within driving distance who have a long commute and prefer to stay overnight.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Friendly, warm, proactive, and organized

• 5+ years experience with infants and toddlers

• Must have a driver’s license and be comfortable driving children

• Spanish-English bilingual skills are a plus.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Engaging the children in age-appropriate developmental activities to stimulate play and interaction. 

• Drop off and pick up from school and activities (driving).

• Diaper changes and maintaining healthy hygiene. 

• Maintaining the child’s routines and schedule.

• Children’s laundry.

• Healthy meal preparation for the children.

• Reading to the children.

• Coming up with fun, creative, and engaging activities.

• Organizing playdates.

• Going on walks and to the parks.

• Finding fun activities in the area.

• Bedtime and bathtime routine.

• Keeping the child’s room and the main spaces clean and tidy.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant nanny experience with infants and toddlers.

• Legally permitted to work in the U.S. 

• 2-3 relevant references. 

• Must live within 3-4 hours driving distance of Westchester

• Driver’s license and experience driving with children.

• Must also like dogs. The family has a dog. 

Compensation: Legal pay on a W-2, starting at $33-35.00/hour (gross) or higher depending on experience and credentials, with overtime at 1.5 times the base rate after 40 hours. 

Benefits: Ten days of vacation, paid federal holidays, sick days as needed, and other benefits can be negotiated for the right candidate.
