#508 - Full-Time Nanny Needed in Jersey City, NJ

Location: Jersey City, NJ
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm (some flexibility is needed)
Child’s Age: 4 months old
Ideal Start Date: Mid-November
We’re looking for someone who is:

Kind, gentle, attentive, and engaging with a calm demeanor

Warm and easygoing, with a genuine passion for childcare

Prioritizes safety and the child’s well-being above all else
-
Capable of carrying the baby up a few flights of stairs; there are 2 flights in the family’s home.

A strong communicator and able to work in partnership with parents
-
Experienced, with at least 3-5 years of full-time nannying and strong knowledge of infant care
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
-
Ensuring the child’s safety, care, and well-being at all times
-
Managing the baby’s sleep and feeding routines
-
Diaper changes and supporting the baby’s overall hygiene
-
Planning activities and incorporating learning into everyday situations
-
Taking the baby for walks and to local parks, the library, etc.

Assisting with the child’s laundry
-
Sanitizing bottles, toys, and baby equipment
-
Preparing meals: making purees, introducing solids, and eventually balanced meals for the child
-
Supporting the achievement of age-appropriate milestones.
-
Actively engaging the child in age-appropriate developmental activities, including interactive play, encouraging language development, and stimulating cognitive and motor skills.

Keeping the child’s room, bathroom, and main spaces clean and safe
Requirements:
-
3+ years of recent, full-time infant care experience
-
Fully vaccinated (COVID, Tdap, annual flu) and willing to get boosters
-
CPR certified or open to renewing certification
-
Able to comfortably lift and carry up to 25 pounds
-
Authorized to work in the U.S.

Three references from past employers
-
Lives within a reasonable commuting distance from Jersey City
Compensation: Base pay of $30-35 per hour (gross), based on experience and credentials. Overtime pay after 40 hours.
