#507 - Nanny Needed in Tribeca (40 hours a week)

Location: Tribeca, New York City
Child’s Age: 6 months old
Ideal Start Date: Mid-late November or sooner.
Schedule:

Monday through Thursday or Monday through Friday, from approximately 9:30am to 5:30pm.

32-40 hours per week, depending on the right candidate’s preferences.

Additional hours may be available one evening per week or one weekend day per week, depending on the candidate’s availability.
Job Responsibilities:
-
Provide a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for the child.
-
Perform diaper changes and support healthy hygiene practices.
-
Assist with feedings (bottle and solids) and clean up.
-
Engage the child in age-appropriate activities—including reading, talking, tummy time/physical activity, walks, play, social time—both at home/outdoors (weather permitting) and through structured classes in the neighborhood.

Help maintain the child’s nap schedule.

Support the child in reaching developmental milestones.

Help maintain the organization of the home.

Help with pick-up and drop-off from daycare.
-
Run household-related errands and assist with household tasks (e.g. unloading groceries)

Keep up with laundry.

Additional Notes:

There is a nut allergy and fragrance allergy in the home - no foods containing nuts are allowed in the home and no perfume or strongly-scented products can be worn or used in the home.

The family maintains a clean and healthy home environment: they recycle, compost, and avoid processed foods. The right candidate will align with these values.
Requirements:

5+ years of experience with infants
-
2+ years of experience with household management.
-
Warm, positive, and nurturing demeanor.
-
2-3 relevant references.

Local resident.

Vaccinated (flu, tdap, MMR, covid)
Pluses: Experience with nut allergies in the home and gentle sleep training are pluses but not required; Ability/interest in occasional travel with the family is welcomed.
Compensation: $40-45.00 gross per hour or higher, depending on experience and credentials. Legal pay on a W-2.
Benefits: 10 days of paid vacation, 5-6 sick days per year, paid major holidays, MTA reimbursement, and other benefits such as a healthcare stipend can be discussed with the right candidate.
