A Nanny Match Jobs

Location: Tribeca, NYC

Ages of children: 3 month old (b) and a sometimes (partial custody) a 5 year-old (g)

Start date: As soon as they find the right fit! 

General schedule: Guaranteed minimum of 50 hours per month. The nanny will likely have 1 weekend off per month, although the 50 hours may be distributed among 4 weekends during some months. 

Flexibility is needed. The schedule will be provided at least 2 weeks in advance.

The family travels quite a bit, and they can guarantee 4 weekends per month to a nanny who can travel with them. 

Preference will be given to a nanny who can spend occasional overnights in the city or travel on occasion. 

The position starts as soon as possible. 

The Ideal Candidate:

• This position is ideal for a person seeking a steady, long-term weekend position with a family with which they can grow—someone with a warm and positive attitude who can bring a sense of calm to the home. 

• A Nanny with significant experience working with infants and toddlers, and is knowledgeable about children’s development & genuinely loves caring for them.

• Flexible with scheduling on weekends. 

• Emotionally regulated and attuned to the children’s needs but can also enforce boundaries when needed.

• While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate who speaks Spanish.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Actively engaging the children in fun, age-appropriate activities.

• Supporting the achievement of age-appropriate milestones (e.g. transitioning to solids, learning to walk, potty training, etc). Tummy time, reading, etc.

• Taking the children to activities and playdates. 

• Diaper changes and supporting healthy hygiene.

• Bottle feedings and the sterilization of the bottles and equipment.

• Maintaining the child’s nap and eating schedules.

• Children's laundry.

• Meal preparation for the children.

• Keeping the home's main spaces and the child’s room clean and tidy.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of relevant nanny experience with infants.

• Experience with school-aged children.

• Legally permitted to work in the U.S. 

• 2-3 relevant references. 

• Resides within a reasonable commuting distance from Tribeca.

Compensation: The hourly rate starts at $30.00 per hour or higher, depending on the right candidate's experience, flexibility, and credentials.
