A Nanny Match Jobs

An active, loving family of four in Tribeca, NYC, is seeking a weekend nanny to primarily care for their nearly 2.5-year-old child (g).

The family just welcomed a newborn into the family! The nanny in this role will mainly care for the eldest child until the baby is a little older. 

The general schedule is Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 6pm.

The family can guarantee 3 weekends per month. The weekends will be planned at least one month in advance. 

There will be some occasional weekend travel to their home in the Hamptons. 

The position starts as soon as possible. 

The Ideal Candidate:

• Energetic, warm, engaging, proactive, safety-conscious, and responsible.

• At least 2 years of nanny experience with toddlers and infants. 

• Flexible with the schedule (weekends).

• Seeking a long-term weekend position. 

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Actively engaging the child in educational and fun age-appropriate activities.

• Supporting the achievement of age-appropriate milestones (e.g. mealtime, socialization, potty training, learning to read).

• Taking the child to classes, the park, and playdates. 

• Maintaining the child’s nap and eating schedules.

• Children's laundry.

• Meal preparation for the child.

• Keeping the home's main spaces and the child’s room clean and tidy.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of relevant nanny experience with infants and toddlers. 

• Legally permitted to work in the U.S. 

• 2-3 relevant references. 

• Resides within a reasonable commuting distance from Tribeca.

• Must like dogs. The family has an adorable Bernedoodle.

Compensation: The hourly rate starts at $30.00 per hour or higher depending on the right candidate's experience and credentials. 

Benefits: 2-3 days of sick leave per year, paid holidays that land on a regularly scheduled work day, and other benefits such as a monthly metro card reimbursement can be negotiable.
