A Nanny Match Jobs

Loving parents in White Plains, NY, seek a Newborn Care Specialist or FT nanny for their 3-month-old twins starting in October. 

The position will be contracted from the beginning of October through mid-December.

This could be a long-term position for the right FT nanny, who would stay on retainer from December through March and travel with the family for a few weeks (domestically) during those months. 

The NCS schedule is live-in, 24/7. 

The Nanny position would be 7am - 7pm, 5 days a week. In March, the schedule can shift to Monday through Thursday 7am - 7pm if preferable.  

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to;

• Everything involving the safety, care, and well-being of the children. 

• Maintaining the babies sleeping and feeding schedules.

• Diaper and clothes changes as needed 

• Maintaining overall healthy hygiene of the baby.

• The baby’s laundry.

• Equipment sterilization.

• Assisting the mother with transitioning each baby from breastfeeding to burping, etc.  

• Keeping the baby's room and bathroom clean, sanitized and tidy. 

• Helping to maintain a clean and sterile environment for the babies.

• Guiding the parents on best care practices while supporting the parent’s decisions. 

• Ability to facilitate a smooth transition from toddler care to newborn care,

The ideal candidate will have 5+  years of experience with infants and working with twins and will be punctual, reliable, professional, a positive attitude, attentive, nurturing, honest, flexible, proactive, safety conscious, observant, attentive, a team player, open to feedback, and actively engaged with the babies.

There will be some domestic travel included in this position. 

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant NCS/ Night Nurse experience.

• Experience with baby led weaning (purees/solids)

• Experience working with twins / multiples

• Experience with Sleep Training. 

• Legally permitted to work in the U.S.

• Neat, clean, tidy

• Excellent communication skills.

• Excellent references. 

• Trained in Infant CPR and First Aid.

• Fully Vaccinated (covid, Tdap, Flu, MMR)

• Ability to travel 

• The ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

Compensation: FT nanny position is $40+ gross hourly, depending on experience. NCS 24/7 position starts at $600 per day.
